That invitation has become the heartbeat of my work.

I create contemporary oil paintings that become quiet places to pause—spaces where beauty, light, and mystery meet. My hope is that as you spend time with each piece, you begin to see more than color and composition. Perhaps you'll discover peace, wonder, and the quiet invitation of God's presence.​

 

For more than thirty years, I've helped people discover a deeper relationship with Jesus through spiritual formation, creativity, and the healing power of His presence. While that season profoundly shaped who I am, today my primary language is paint.

Many of my paintings emerge from moments of worship, imagination, Scripture, and quiet encounter with God. Over the years, I've noticed myself continually drawn to paint glimpses of the glory of God—not merely as radiant light, but as His beauty, goodness, presence, and life revealed. They aren't meant to explain faith or illustrate a message. Instead, they create space—for stillness, for wonder, and for the possibility of seeing beyond what first meets the eye.

 

The years spent caring for my husband, Steve, through his journey with Alzheimer's have quietly shaped the artist I am today. They deepened my awareness of eternity and drew my work even more toward the beautiful meeting place between heaven and earth, where hope, beauty, and the presence of God gently invite us to see beyond the visible.

 

Collectors often tell me that a painting continues to reveal new details months or even years after it first hangs in their home. I love that. Beautiful art shouldn't be exhausted in a glance. Like the deepest relationships, it unfolds over time. Rather than painting the world exactly as it appears, I'm drawn to paint the world as I believe it truly is—a world quietly filled with the glory, beauty, goodness, and nearness of God, waiting to be discovered.

 

My work has found homes across the United States and internationally in private collections, businesses, and places of ministry. Whether displayed in a living room, office, prayer space, or gallery, my desire is always the same: that each painting would bring beauty, peace, and a lasting sense of hope into the places where you live and gather.

 

When I'm not painting, you'll usually find me walking beneath the towering trees of Northern California or along the Sacramento River—places that continually remind me that God's beauty and glory are quietly woven throughout creation, waiting to be seen.
