One Sunday morning during worship, I had a profound encounter with Jesus that became the inspiration for Crowned. I sensed Him gently placing a crown upon my head. What overwhelmed me most was not the crown itself, but His smile and the depth of His unconditional love.

In that moment, I understood that this is how He sees us—not through our failures or striving, but as beloved sons and daughters: beautiful, crowned, worthy, accepted, deeply loved, fully known, and completely seen.

My prayer is that everyone who stands before this painting would glimpse that same transforming love for themselves.

Already Crowned

You are Crowned in Lovingkindness.

Not waiting. Not striving—chosen.

Accepted. Approved. Beloved.

No longer merely human, but reborn— A heavenly being,

Formed in the image of Love Himself.

Face to face with Majesty,

He places the crown upon your head—Joy in His eyes, Glory on His breath.

Breathe deeply.

You are One. He is in you, you in Him—Together in the Father,

Held in the center of their swirling, eternal Love.

Take your seat in the heavens. Co-rule. Co-reign.

You are His radiant imager on the earth.

Let the brilliance of His countenance

Shine through you—Light piercing darkness.

Love written on your face.

The world is waiting for your light.
