The Secret Place

There is a place of quiet confidence where fear begins to lose its voice and peace becomes stronger than uncertainty.

This original mixed media painting invites us to lift our eyes beyond today's circumstances and remember that hope often arrives long before we can see it with our natural eyes. The silhouetted figure, filled with the beauty of the heavens, gazes across a sea of gold toward a distant ship carrying abundant provisions. Though it has not yet arrived, there is no anxiety—only quiet assurance that everything needed is already on its way.

Throughout the painting, honeycomb, flowers, dragonflies, stars, and layers of luminous texture speak of abundance, transformation, beauty, and the unseen work of God unfolding all around us. They remind us that life is often richer than what is immediately visible.

For me, The Secret Place was born from a deeply personal encounter with the Lord. He gently reminded me that I already have a place of belonging in His presence and that His provision is never late. Before I recognize my need, He is already preparing the answer. My role is not to strive or worry, but to remain close to Him, trusting His heart and seeing life from heaven's perspective.

The secret place is not a destination to reach.

It is a relationship to live from.

Trust His goodness.
